BACKSTORY (1967–Present):Tomorrowland Terrace is a restaurant and concert stage, which hydraulically rises out of the ground, with design elements by Rolly Crump. It opened with the New Tomorrowland in 1967 and was sponsored by Coca-Cola., It has hosted a number of famous musical acts, including Melba Moore (May 25-26, 1974), backed by Quincy Jones and his Orchestra.
For the 1998 "New" Tomorrowland, Rolly Crump's design was abandoned in the makeover. Mercifully, 2006 brought a return to Crump's aesthetic, and the Tomorrowland Terrace looks great again! The Jedi Training Academy is also held on the Tomorrowland Terrace stage.
Talented Elvis Presley impersonator Scot Bruce was a frequent staple of Tomorrowland entertainment.
