BACKSTORY: I am not a huge Texas person, so I was pleasantly surprised to really fall in love with San Antonio...even when it was September and hot as heck! So much charm, so much history. It truly is a beauitful city that begs to be explored. Make sure you have dinner at the Esquire Tavern; the homemade Ginger Beer, Fried Pickles, and Frito Corn Chip Pie are out of this world.
