BACKSTORY (July 24, 1966 —February 17, 2023): This New Orleans Square restaurant featured cafeteria-style service with an outdoor seating area. It was closed on February 17, 2023 (along with the Mint Julep Bar) to make way for Tiana’s Palace, based on the Disney animated movie “The Princess and the Frog” (2009).

The Menu
This delightful dining experience features favorites from the American South, including Plantation Citrus Chicken, Roast Beef Royale, Salmon Creole and jambalaya. A children's menu features beloved classics like citrus chicken breast and macaroni and cheese.
Entertainment
Celebrate the spirit of New Orleans and get into the swing with some good old Dixieland jazz. The Royale Street Bachelors, a 3-piece band, perform their fun and funky tunes on the centrally located stage in the middle of the patio throughout the day.
