BACKSTORY: One of the main east-west roads in LA, extending almost 16 miles from Ocean Avenue in Santa Monica east to Grand Avenue in the Financial District of DTLA. It is also one of the major city streets though the city of Beverly Hills. One famous stretch between Fairfax and Highland Avenues is known as the Miracle Mile, where many of LA's largest museums are located.
