BACKSTORY (Opening June 3, 2011): This attraction is the first dark ride based on a modern day Disney animated feature. The exterior was inspired by the architecture of the Dragon Gorge Scenic Railway from Ocean Park in Venice, California. An 86' wide mural can be found in the boarding area with characters from the movie, making it the first dark ride mural to be created since the Fantasyland remodel of 1983. The majority of the music used in this attraction is from the original movie; additional music needed for transitions between scenes, were arranged by Danny Troob.
